I set goals so big that I cannot achieve them until I grow into the person who can. I aim to do this constantly both in my work and personal life. I set my first goal of this type when I was 4 years old: I set out to impact the world by helping everyone live in good health. First, I wanted to be a veterinarian. Then, I wanted to be a doctor. As I became older, I realized the gruesome realities medical providers heroically faced, and determined I was not suited for their work. Instead, I decided I would help those seeking medical attention by getting them the help they need. I knew this goal could not be achieved without first building my grit. Throughout college, I became involved with numerous startups in a range of industries including renewable energy, cannabis, real estate, fitness, luxury products and entertainment, and medical. I connected immediately with the ambition and boundless energy of the entrepreneurs and business owners I met. The opportunity to wear different hats excited me, and the constant learning experience was everything I craved. I found myself working closely with founders and C-level executives, who I assisted in all of their efforts. My responsibilities included market research, brand development, composing contracts and pitch decks, website creation, and talent scouting. Upon graduating from the University of San Diego, I attempted creating my own startup that specialized in cannabis-infused topicals. I wanted to heal the world through plant medicine. There came a point when I could no longer financially support my efforts, so I pursued my labor of love in digital marketing. That’s when I discovered Doctor Multimedia. Being as I have been developing websites since primary school, I found my nerdy tech side right at home. I love what I do because it gives me the ability to empower medical providers with state-of-the-art solutions that help them grow and streamline their practices. I find it meaningful to help doctors impart their value, and engage with their patients in ways that they otherwise could not given their busy schedule and potentially lack of digital marketing expertise. It’s just as, if not more, meaningful to me to help a patient get the prescription contact lenses they need, the chiropractic adjustment their body is aching for, or the dental implant that will make their smile whole. I have a whole-hearted belief in my work, and pride myself on being a human of value to the doctor, practice, or patient who wants clarity. Doctor Multimedia is truly special because it doesn’t just offer websites or online marketing. It offers a better quality of life for both the doctor and the patients— a goal I set when I was 4 years old, and have grown to achieve. |
